The rich color expression of rubber flooring comes from the scientific application of mixed masterbatches. By precisely controlling the masterbatch formula, various textures and color effects in nature can be reproduced. In the production process of colored rubber flooring, the coloring of mixed rubber is the core technical link, and the addition method of masterbatch directly affects the color stability of the final product. The main production processes are as follows:

1. Coloring process
The coloring operation of the mixed rubber must be completed on the mixing mill, and strict rubber homogenization inspection must be performed before implementation.

Chroma detection: Ensure that the color of the base rubber is uniform and eliminate the original color difference.

Defect treatment: Rework the rubber with color difference until it reaches the color uniformity standard.

Masterbatch addition: Only rubber that has passed the test can be compounded with masterbatch to ensure color matching accuracy.

2. Masterbatch preparation process
(1) Production of single-color masterbatch:
Can be made in-house or purchased
Typical process: mixing and molding by open mixer/internal mixer
Key control: pigment dispersion and rubber compatibility

(2) Mixed masterbatch preparation:
Professional color mixing engineers perform multi-component compounding according to the target color card formula
Use open mixer to achieve uniform mixing to ensure that the viscosity of the masterbatch matches the base rubber
Vulcanization property test is required to evaluate the impact on the crosslinking density and physical properties of the rubber

3. Key points of quality control
Pre-test test: The impact of the masterbatch on key properties such as vulcanization rate, tensile strength, and wear resistance must be verified before mass production.
Process monitoring: Establish color difference ΔE control standards and implement online spectral detection.
Process parameter optimization: Adjust key parameters such as mixing temperature according to the type of masterbatch.
